Deliver a programme of community engagement and media relations support for the landowner, including stakeholder mapping and development of a project website, sharing clear and consistent information to the community.
Prepare stakeholder and media briefings.
To work closely with the landowners, planning consultants Barton Willmore, and Baca Architects on the proposals for 130 new homes in a former quarry in Strood, Medway.
Maxim named the development so it would resonate well with the local community.
Organised and managed by the Maxim team, the public exhibition at the local church hall adjacent to the site, was well received by stakeholders and members of the community. This was followed up with the development of the Statement of Community Involvment.
Maxim also successfully operated the project office, responding to public enquiries via the project phone line and website.
Commissioner’s Place was granted permission by Medway Council.
