Brief

• As a chartered building surveyor, Metcalfe Briggs (MBS) faces the regular challenge of explaining what it does and how it can help improve the profitability of its customers – the role of Maxim was therefore to rectify this situation through the media.
• Raise the profile of MBS across the south east and among its target audiences, including the church and FE/HE educational institutions.

Results and highlights

• Maxim set to work establishing relations with the region’s business editors and briefing them on the role of a building surveyor and, in particular, MBS’ expertise in helping its clients to avoid costly financial disputes in relation to leases, dilapidations and party wall agreements. 

• The work of MBS with the Diocese of Southwark and the firm’s survey of 200 churches was a specific area of focus for Maxim. 

• Interviews with influential business publications, including Kent Messenger’s Kent Business were negotiated.
