PRide Award shortlisting for community engagement project

August, 2021

An 18-month project for the Rochester Bridge Trust has seen Kent PR and marketing agency Maxim shortlisted for an award.

The Rochester Bridge Refurbishment Project has been shortlisted in the Regional Campaign category of the PRide Awards for the South and Channel Islands, organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

The project involved extensive community engagement, working with client the Rochester Bridge Trust and their lead contractor FM Conway to ensure as much of the community as possible was kept up to date about the works.

Erica Jones of Maxim, who manages the external communications for the Trust, said: “The engineering of the Rochester Bridge Refurbishment Project is award-winning, so to have our communications work shortlisted for this award is a great recognition of the part we played.

“I’m very proud of everything we achieved for this project, which resulted in a lot of positive interaction and strengthened the Trust’s reputation within the community.”

The winners will be announced during a virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday, 6 October 2021. Find out more here
