Find out how to secure media coverage for your business

March, 2015

Maxim’s Andrew Metcalf has teamed up with Chris Price, the KM Group’s business editor, to present a workshop this Friday at the West Kent B2B exhibition and conference.

Entitled How to secure media coverage - hear both sides of the story’, the workshop, which is free to attend, will provide an insight into the best ways to secure media coverage for small and medium sized organisations.

While Chris will explain how a busy editor has to think about content for online, print, radio and TV, Andrew will give tips on improving the chances of securing editorial coverage and how to build a business’s profile through PR.

Andrew Metcalf said: “Journalists are under a lot of pressure with staff cuts and demands on their time steadily increasing. The easier you can make it for them to cover your story, the more chance there is of securing coverage – whether that be online, in print or broadcast.”

West Kent B2B

West Kent B2B takes place at the River Centre, Tonbridge, on Friday 27 March from 8.45am – 4pm. Delegates are encouraged to book a free place online. Highlights of the day include: keynote speaker Justin Urquhart Stewart; workshops on key business topics; speed networking sessions; free business advice sessions; and many businesses demonstrating their products and services.

Maxim, which specialises in media relations, marketing, public affairs and reputation management, will be exhibiting on stand 35. Established in 1995, this year marks the agency’s 20th anniversary.

Andrew continued: “To celebrate two decades in business we’ll be sharing a slice of cake with delegates. Come and have a chat, find out more about what we do and how we can help raise your organisation’s profile, assist in planning projects or refine your corporate communications.”
